The size is rather small for my Great Dane, despite ordering an extra large size. However, I must admit that it is still very sturdy.

This product is an excellent solution for households with 8 dogs. It consistently delivers fresh and cool water, which our dogs absolutely adore. Not only do they love it, but we also appreciate the convenience of not having to constantly refill and clean multiple bowls.

I have a giant breed dog who drinks a lot of water, so I was looking for a convenient solution that wouldn’t require constant monitoring. This product is perfect for that, as it easily hooks up to my deck faucet. However, because my dog is so big, he can quickly lap up the water in this bowl. Despite that, we haven’t encountered any issues with it so far, and it works great. It was especially useful during the summer months, ensuring that my dog always had access to water. Overall, I would say this product is best suited for medium to small sized animals.

The assembly and mounting of this product is relatively easy, despite the instructions making it seem more complicated. I attached it to a nearby tree using a 2×4 block of wood and connected a water hose to it. It automatically fills about half full and stops. As the water level decreases, the float valve also goes down, similar to how a toilet tank operates. This triggers the water flow until it reaches the cut-off level. Cleaning the bowl is simple – just pull on the slide plate at the back to unlock it from the wall mount. However, make sure to turn off the water first to prevent any spillage, or install a water shut-off valve between the hose and the bowl. The bowl is made of stainless steel, except for the plastic float valve which is protected by a cover. One thing to note is that it may not be suitable for very small dogs or teacup puppies, as it needs to be mounted about 5 inches from the ground for easy cleaning. Alternatively, it can be mounted at ground level and cleaned in different ways, such as spraying or wiping. If it’s too high for your dogs, you can build a ramp or steps using materials like a board, bricks, or blocks of wood. Overall, it’s a convenient watering device, and I plan to enclose mine with a doggy house and makeshift roof to keep debris out. It’s especially useful on hot days as it prevents water spills and ensures my dogs stay hydrated. The product doesn’t require heavy-duty mounting despite the instructions suggesting so. It only needs about 8 inches of horizontal surface to secure it using the three holes on the back of the mount. While it is nice, it is quite overpriced for what it offers. You could probably make a similar one yourself at a local hardware store, including the metal bowl, for a fraction of the cost. I’ve even seen larger stainless steel sinks for much less. However, if you’re willing to splurge, go ahead and buy it.

I am extremely satisfied with this automatic watering bowl. It is a great solution for providing water to both my outdoor cats and chickens. I no longer need to constantly check their water dish, which is a relief. The setup process was quick and hassle-free, and I love how it conveniently sits on my deck next to the faucet. Cleaning it is also a breeze.

This product is extremely user-friendly and effortless to set up. It is worth noting that a water diverter for the hose will be required. Aside from that, it functions perfectly and effectively keeps my dogs hydrated and cool when they are out in the yard.

We own three Boxers and this bowl is perfect for all of them. It is conveniently removable, making it easy to refill with water whenever necessary.

If the price was lower and the size was larger, I would highly recommend this product. It is strong, easy to clean, and practical. However, it is not suitable for bigger dogs as it seems to be intended for small or medium-sized dogs like ours. It barely met the needs of our aussiedoodle puppies, so I assume it will not be effective for Dobermans or dogs of similar size. Additionally, the product is expensive. While the quality is commendable, the original price is too high.
